Mothers’ Day, which has developed from the traditional Mothering Sunday, is a time when we thank our mothers for all the love they have shown us, bringing us up and caring for us. Mothers’ Day gives us a specific opportunity to show our love for them by giving them gifts and enabling them to have a rest.
