This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching, continuing his series in the first letter of Peter.
In chapter two we find behaviours and attitudes which are wrong and to be avoided. Peter instructs us to put away such conduct and attitudes. Those who truly follow the Lord Jesus, knowing Him as Saviour, also should desire to become more mature in the faith, to grow more like Jesus. When a person becomes a Christian they will have a strong desire to hear God’s word, the Bible and learn from it how to live in holiness.
“Like newborn infants long for the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby to salvation.” we read in verse 2. We will consider how all this should look like in the life of a believer.
