Chance Encounters?

This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching. “Chance encounters?”. In the Old Testament we meet a lady called Ruth who just happens to meet someone who could make a big difference for good in her own life and that of her poor widowed mother in law. Do such things happen by chance or is there a God who arranges and orders life? If so how should we respond?
