This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching on “The woman with a hidden past” based on John chapter 4. There are things in which we have been involved that we would not want published. Things we have done of which we are ashamed or of which we should be ashamed. Words spoken, actions taken, neglect, thoughts and intents that were plain wrong and we know it and so we put a lid on, wrap it up, hide it from others. What happens when we come face to face with someone from whom we can hide nothing and who has the authority to judge us? A woman with a hidden past encounters Jesus.
