Baptism and Salvation – Ridgeway Community Church

This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching. Under the heading “Baptism and Salvation” we take a look at 1 Peter 3 verses 19-21.

What does it mean that Noah and his family were saved through water? Why does Peter make mention of Noah and the flood at all? How is Baptism viewed? Should people who believe upon the Lord Jesus be baptised?

The Bible is clear that salvation is by grace alone no one deserves forgiveness for their sins, no one can earn eternal life and no religious rite of any kind can bring a person in to right relationship with God.

We need to understand the relationship between becoming a Christian and baptism in water.
