Sunday Service – 17th May 10.30am

This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching from Peter’s first letter chapter three. Under the heading “So great salvation”, we will consider the meaning of verses 18-21.

In those verses there are some quite difficult references to understand. What does it mean that Jesus preached to the spirits in prison? What about Noah – how does he fit in the description? When we read of baptism in relation to the salvation written about, what does it tell us about baptism?

Those verses are in fact a wonderful description of what Jesus has achieved for those who believe.
