This Sunday our preacher is Benjamin Howlett from Monyhull Church.
Benjamin will be speaking from the book of Daniel. The narrative in Daniel chapter 2 tells a somewhat unusual account. The most powerful King in the world at the time has a dream that troubles him so much that, when his magicians aren’t able to tell him the dream (let alone the interpretation) he threatens to destroy them and all they possess! But as God works through his servant, Daniel, we see the wisdom, power, and sovereignty of the one true God compared to the utter futility of false religion. Where false religion brought nothing but ignorance, fear, and destruction God brought knowledge, peace, and salvation.
