Psalm 121 was originally sung by Jewish pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem to reassure themselves of God’s ever-present protection. We don’t pilgrimage anymore, but we certainly know what it feels like to worry about what’s ahead. We too need the reassurance that God protects us in all things at all times. Psalm 121 is a wonderful declaration of this encouraging truth.
