2,000 years ago three words were spoken on a hill nearly 4,000 miles away. A short statement of just three words spoken that long ago surely can’t hold any significance today? Far from it! As Jesus hung upon a Roman cross, at the point of death, he uttered three words that are truly the most wonderful words ever spoken – “It is finished.” What is so wonderful about these words? How can these words provide the deepest comfort and joy?”
