This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching

The Old Testament book of Isaiah 40 contains a lovely promise of strength to the weary and faint. “Those who wait on The Lord will renew their strength…”. We need to understand what it means to wait on The Lord, for this leads to the result “…they shall rise up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Circumstances can be challenging for us as individuals and as church. Perseverance is most needful. In this chapter of Isaiah we find an antidote to weariness.
