Sticking with Mother-in-Law

This Sunday our Pastor will be preaching. The title is “Sticking with mother in law”. Based on the account in The Old Testament Book of Ruth we hear about a widow who is resolved to leave her own homeland to accompany her mother in law to her country. It might seem there was not much to offer her as she would be a stranger in mother in law’s homeland. Her mother in law had no house to return to, having left all behind ten years previously. Ruth the devoted daughter in law also made a choice to believe in her mother in law’s God. Why on earth would anyone today believe in The God revealed in The Bible.
