What is the Point of Praying?

This week our Pastor will be preaching on the theme “What is the point of praying?”. We will consider how a preacher who lived in the period covered in the old testament part of the Bible felt that God was not answering his prayer. Habakkuk that preacher subsequently prayed in response to what God said to him. How can we deal with unanswered prayer? How should we be praying?
